On the school grounds of Rising Star School, a borehole for clean water has been drilled for the students. As the site is open to the public, a wall is being built around the borehole to protect it. Referring to the traditional Zimbabwean design of a Mother‘s House on a rural residential stand and the geometry of the internal borehole, the wall is constructed roundly. The entrance gate receives a round arch according to traditional masonry construction.
The construction is funded by the German organisation ZimRelief e.V.
